i heard a rumor from a Yahoo! Prince Group that The NPGMC is being sued 4 not providing the 3 other CD's Prince owes us.

does any1 have an IDEA who & what this is all about?

Haven't heard anything about it...but it may be a good idea if they don't come through!!

I cant see this happening at the moment,after all this year isnt over yet.

One thing tho,I joined around June/July and believed that my yearly membership would run to June/July 2003.But have read several posts lately saying that the club would end at the end of this calendar year,huh?

Does anyone know what the hell is going on with NPGMC? More to the point,do NPGMC themselves know what the hell is going on?

Makes no difference to me,as I am not joining again.

u have 2 read CLOSELY the Membership JOINING page & it sez the Membership ends @ the END of the Year... i didn't notice that til' Lavish mentioned it...

Some people have reported here that the club has been reported to the Consumer Watchdog organisation - or their branch in Minneapolis - is it the BBB? - but, if that is the case, it is unclear on what grounds they were reported and how old the complaint(s) was / were. I have read that a member from 2001 was threatening to report them because his copy of Rave In2 did not arrive, but I understand that it eventually arrived.

My own take on this is that I renewed my own membership at the outset in February when I was made fully aware that membership was for the duration of 2002 (not for 12 months following joining or renewal, as some thought). I also joined on the understanding that I would receive 4 CDs, and to expect these sometime before my membership expires. So to date, NPGMC has honoured its part of the bargain, in these respects.

Finally, I was also led to believe that these 4 CDs were specific product, and this aspect now seems to be very much in doubt - but I'll wait and see what I get before I judge the 2002 membership. I wasn't let down in 2001 (far from it), and I haven't been let down in 2002.

Hmmm wish I knew myself whats going on, Heck i'd do anything to get something or some infromation.

So far only 1 CD from the club and mostly rumored 3 CD's from recordings at the Celly. I haven't been able to attend any shows because of my schedule and need of putting the $$$ elsewhere, $100 plus smackers for tix is kinda up there don't you think?

I myself would like maybe other things to go along with that like t-shirts or some little goodies on the side. I'm in the club for the exclusive stuff and hoping to make a on other club items.

I mean what is the with what's going on, I know "P" is busy and all but I wonder if he knows what's going on.

Any thoughts bout this from anyone else

To be honest I doubt that teh Sue story is true...but I bet there is plenty of ground for a case on the basis of false advertisment - after all we were promised,in year 1, videos every month and at least 3 new trax everymonth...neither of which happened.Also the inclusion of most of ONA in year 1 and then on the only year 2 cd has got to be some kind of no-no.

Ever wondered why the promised NPGMC chat room and message board never came about...really??? Then consider this maybe,if this is the Truth,the Prince cant handle it. Imagine the NPGMC crumbling from the inside,could the little man handle the shame - i think not.

keep an eye on it dude...it changes on a regular basis. For example they changed it when it looked like the World Tour wouldnt leave the USA again and its also chnaged its wording a number of times so as to skirt around issues such as new vids etc (in year 1)
