What did you bought at the NPGMC ?

I only bought one thing from the retail store. I have the Prince pink t-shirt with his name in glitter. I want to buy other stuff when I was a member of the club the first year. The retail store had tons of cool stuff for members only that sold out quickly. I might join next year the club and buy stuff in the member section. What did you bought at the NPGMC retail store?

Nothing. It is sad, but I actually don't see even one item for sale that I would want.

The prices are sky-high, and I won't even get into shipping! omg

I know it's small change, but I actually miss all the key-chains and other tiny stuff Glam Slam used to carry. biggrin Those were useful (sorta smile ) and LOTS of folks would add a shirt or two just cuz... biggrin

The only thing I purchased, (excluding tickets to One Nite Alone) is the Days of Wild CD single.

Imagine buying music from the Music Club?! Wouldn't that be nice...

And now I hate maself 4 writing a bitching post- ain't U's sick of those?? In the long run Prince will always deliver above and beyond epectations. Right?

I bought the neo-manifesto because they didn't have it at the Celly this year.

T-shirt, tour books etc. I try to buy at the concerts.

I miss the NPG catalog (Paper or online) They really didn't have that much at the Celly that was new either, except for T-shirt, muscle shirts etc.

Oh they did have those $20 candles which I see have sold out also.

Just NOTHING.

The t-shirts & some jewellery r cool but waaay 2 xpensive.

The only single with new music was Days of Wild & eye'm not crazy enough 2 pay $20 4 ONE song when eye can download it 4 free on a shareware or have some1 burn it 4 me (particularly after eye already paid $100 4 the pleasure of waiting months b4 eye got anything 4 it).

The rest is just pure shit xept if u REALLY r a collector of every official thing ever released by Prince including candles (yeah... some people r).

But still, if Year 3 is MP3 like Year 1, eye think u should REALLY join. If CDs... well, eye will renew, but eye would't dare advice any1 2 do so.

Yeah true his stuff is expensive he should come back with his offline store again. I would rather buy his stuff like at a concert than dealing with shipping and handleing fees. but I wanted one of his t-shirt for when I attend another one of his concert will wear. When I went to Hit N Run me bought his poster of the Hit N Run tour, SuperCute, Daisy Chain, Peach singles and Rave Un2 The Year 2000 live concert video for all about $60 bucks.

I didn't really like the whole get 4 Cds in the mail, because sending out 4 Cds in the mail to each member will take a long time since the club have tons of members or sometimes people just don't get stuff in the mail. I think the whole downloading mp3 and quicktime movies was such better in my opinion even though at the time me didn't have a fast speed internet connection back in year one so downloading stuff took for hours, but I manage to get all the downloading done.

Yeah... eye really don't understan y so many people complained @ the time & asked 4 CDs instead. Of course it was long 2 download if u had slow access. But still the sound quality was as good as CDs & MP3 was the only way dis club could make sense...
