Psalm 18:2 on the NPG site it is the Psalm 18:2 not 10:8 as someone posted before.
18:2 reads The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. P luv

And in Prince's New World Translation, It reads:
"Jehovah is my crag and my stronghold and the Provider of escape for me. My God is my rock.I shall take refuge in him, My shield and my horn of salvation, my secure height." So...how's everybody doing?

now...answer me this.
I qouted from the King James Bible. "The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower." and Melody felt the need to reply with, and I qoute: "And in Prince's New World Translation, It reads: Jehovah is my crag and my stronghold and the Provider of escape for me. My God is my rock.I shall take refuge in him, My shield and my horn of salvation, my secure height. now lets compare the 2 passages and see what, if any differences there are. KJ: The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; NWT: Jehovah is my crag and my stronghold and the Provider of escape for me. now lets compare this line... "The Lord is my rock"..."Jehovah is my crag." Lord = Jehovah rock = crag...same thing. "and my fortress"..."my stronghold"... fortress = stronghold same thing. "and my deliverer"..."and the provider of escape for me." deliverer = to set free... provider of escape = to set free so far...same thing. KJ: my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; NWT: My God is my rock.I shall take refuge in him, "my God is my strength in whom I will trust" = "My God is my rock I shall take refuge in him." meaning foundation strength, refuge...same thing trust = take refuge... to take refuge in someone u must trust...same thing. KJ: my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. NWT:My shield and my horn of salvation, my secure height." buckler = shield..."horn of salvation" (both say this)... my high tower=to reach or rise to a great height; one that provides support or protection; surpass. my secure height= dependable; a high point or position. same thing again. Now my question is...since this passage means the same thing, then why must it be split up by "religions"? Its not the religion that matters...its meaning. is it not? P luv
