My sister in NYC told me she joined David Bowie's club as a quarterly member $17 for 3 months, just to get first crack at seats at one of his recent shows. She got a second row seat at his concert for only $75, got to go to a free show at The Roseland Ballroom for members only & also saw in a taping of four songs inside CBS studios with other club members. I checked it out & people who join for a full year (less than $100) get a free 2 CD set & other stuff. Apparently, it also arrives in the mail not long after you join. Tgere are downloads, and Bowie himself has semi-regular chats with members.

I am a member of the NPGMC and I also subscribe to the bowie.net service. The DB service is definely fast and friendly, you do get a 2cd set of music and it comes fast. Overall, Bowie.net keeps people informed as to what Bowie is upto. Being a bowie net member you can buy signed lithographs from Bowie and the concert seating presale is a plus, if you are lucky enough to live in NYC your able to get into many free shows!
As for NPGMC I thought as far as music goes it was the greatests! I loved all the downloads, as for y2 well I guess we will wait and see, the concert seating was cool if your lucky enough to have seen one of the spectacular shows this last year. What I do like about Bowie net is the email and how they keep you informed as to what is going on. Cheers people..

Geeman

I was looking at the Red Hot Chili Peppers site to see if they would be touring the UK in the near future and was amazed to find out that they were early next year.

Then, I noticed that there was a link for pre-sale tickets which I followed and got tickets before they went public.

And what did this cost me? Absolutely nothing.

Good work, socks-on-cocks fellas.
