This was probably the emotion that kept me a fan of Prince, Sheila, The Time, Vanity 6, as well as everyone associated with this pyrple crowd. Ok, this trend of incorrectly spelling words on purpose just because apparently Prince decided it was "cool," or some group of teenage douchebags however long ago decided it was "funny" after they first noticed someone make a typo. Honestly, people. "Thoze?" "Pyrple?" "Cheerz?" And nonsense like "pwned"?? I want to strangle an elderly woman every time I see that. I'm so tired of it. I can't imagine it was funny for more than about 14 seconds, if it even was for THAT long. Is anyone capable of writing in anything approaching an original way anymore? No wonder so few people take Prince seriously, as so many of his fans are such idiotic devotees of any stupid thing he does. | |
