So here we are a year later with the NPG club year two, whats better and whats worse?

Year one we had some new tracks to jam to:
good or bad, old or new, long version, short version, future rainbow track, singles sold on tour, or in stores, sdtk. track, live tracks, whatever. It's a bunch of new music tracks for a junkie like myself.

Then we have the wonerful ahdio shows (10 i believe, excluding TRC download in Oct.)

I really love these hour long shows and I'm so glad that I have them tracked and on cd. Great for traveling. Just access to all of the above was worth the whole club experience for me. Money well spent just for the music, thats all I wanted in the first place. Most of the songs and all the ahdio shows were not offered to the general public.

Plus: the presale tickets, rehearsals, aftershows, celebration, etc. Some people (like me) might not have had the chance to see a show, rehearsal, aftershow, celebration, but it was available and a great reward for those who participated.



Year two:

One Nite Alone cd (sent to members)

Days of Wild cd single (given to celebration goers on the last day of celebration or sold (out) on the website)

Do you think he could have sent the members one of these or at least offered it as a download on the site? I did download it from Winmx.

Plus: the presale tickets, rehearsals, aftershows, celebration, etc. Some people (like me) might not have had the chance to see a show, rehearsal, aftershow, celebration, but it was available and a great reward for those who participated.

I'm sure I missed some things so don't be too critical. I just don't know where we progressed from one year to the next. Was the first year problem free? No. But were the changes for the better? half full/half empty?

guess I should have put it in Music:non-Prince or Non-Prince music.

I was just sitting here jammin to the club tracks and remembered when he recorded the Black album and shelved it for the Lovesexy project (bad girl Camille!). If he shelved all these tracks for us to have TRC, i feel like i am listening to some of the coolest, experimental tracks of the past years. I listen to these tracks much more than any of late.

Look over all the songs for this years membership, there are only 5 or 6 new songs out of all 4 CD's. Thats it. The rest are old songs performed live, or stuff we got as part of year 1.

The last few tracks on ONA are the only new songs out of all 4 CD's.

This club is a mess.

i'm so glad i paid $100 for my ONA 33 min cd, it was sooo worth it.
