Been "out of the loop" so to speak...was there some kind of official announcement that he was taking a break...or taking down 3121.com? Not that I would expect it, but it just seems that everyone here understands that nothing is gonna happen for awhile. Weird.

It's so obvious! he went after youtube and all the other online baddies so that when he gets his new website back up.....ta-da! you'll be able to view all his videos on his site, downloads loads of songs, see all the pictures that The Org had to take down. All that stuff.
It's going to be the greatest one-stop shop for ALL things PRINCE!

but then again, I could be wrong.

I wasn't to keen on the 3121.com site, with the NPGMusicClub we at least had the download store and I think that was something that was working well, being able to go to the artists own website and buy and download the music and have it burnt to cd within minutes.
Prince has had a very busy summer and I guess a break was in sight, I mean dont we all need time to ourselves to do stuff every now and again.
I am really hoping that if a new site is on the horizon that it will include a download store.

im guessing that was just some cross promotional link for the designer but too cryptic

why hype the world up and do all those gigs and aftershows to trash the site with no info and then to turn up at a few tv events like the grammys as though hes always intro'd awards etc like hes gone no where. if hes taking a rest which is doubt surely he wouldnt do that whole promo thing like the grammys.

anyhow he doesnt do his own site he has PEOPLE for that hes said so in the past. hes not literally sitting there uploading his tapes himself and now is so exhausted he needs a lie down before he takes on another arduous task like get a grammy and show up for it
