I have heard 50,000. But that is unconfirmed.

During Year One Prince made an internet record when over 25,000 members were on-line trying to download 'The Rainbow Children'.

Therfore 25,000 plus is a good estimate.

I don't think it's that many really.

I don't believe his numbers.

Maybe a few hundred.

AND less next year after this is really turning out to be a tour sham and with all those fan lawsuits.

There were well over 200 members at each of the London shows. On Saturday there were 18 rows in 3 blocks.

Don't be so pathetic. If NPGMC had that few numbers it would not exist.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!

I have lost all of my YEAR 1 NPGMC Video files...does anyone know where I can get them from. I have contacted the club but they are unable to help.

Does anyone else think that the NPGMC concert ticket system stinks...it used to be that all members got a chance to get tickets - not just a few people bunking of work buying up tickets to evry gig. I was upstair at the London Apollo and was a little hurt when Prince had the front rows singing "join the club" in our direction. Maybe he thought that the only members in the house were down the front..not true Princey. As Ticketmaster kept denying there was a show on the 5th I was lucky to get tickets at all...it wasnt until the 4th time i got through and spoke to a manager that they would actually sell me tickets for the 5th - suspicious or what!!!

HAHA Few Hundred? eye think its a tad bit more than that.. hopefully u were joking.

and yes, it will increase very much so next year, eye believe it will.. eye have come 2 the conclusion, that its pretty much okay, if eye dont have EVERYTHING he has, its all good if he releases something in stores every year, or other year.. its all good

There were well over 100 members in line at the Houston TX concert in April, so I'm sure there are a large number of members worldwide. If you figure, on average, 100 to 150 members at each of the cities ONA has visited, that alone would probably give you 2500-3000 members.

Only the cool ones hang out here, tho'. smile

A friend of mine and I are both members from Australia. We think we are the only people in Brisbane who actually listen to Prince consistantly. He was fairly big in '92 when he toured here, but since then, he seems to have fanished from the Australian market. Usually the only albums you can buy here are Purple Rain & Diamonds & Pearls! I had to order the Rainbow Children in from the US and it cost me US$27. I wouldn't think there would be too many members outside the US and UK.

There are a considerable number of supporters/members outside the UK and the US.

Prince played to over 7,000 people in Frankfurt last night.

The tickets for some of the European dates sold out in record times. That news has been reported on this very site.

In addition 'The Rainbow Children' fared well in Japan and 'The Last December' was highly rated in terms of radio airplay.

If support wasn't great outside of the US and UK, Prince would not be able to tour in Europe and Japan.

I read in one paper that he has 500,000 members... but that can't be right ... can it?
500,000 x $100 === $50,000,000 ...
it was in a uk broadsheet.. but 4 the life of me i cant remember which one
I think it must have been a misprint 50,000 sounds right
