I joined to show my support for the Artist's dream for
his artistic FREEDOM.

Anything I got as a result of that was appreciated...

That's just me. I had a fantastic year! 8 nites with Prince.
Up close and personal (none of which were free,
but I couldn't have gotten there without membership)...
A free CD which I gave to a friend (ONA/piano)as a gift;
I am not a collector.
Another free CD (from the celly)..Days of Wild;
Another free CD a nice guy(whom I met in line) bought for
me at the Paisley store;
A chance to meet some great people from the org;
7 other performers who opened for Prince like Rachelle Ferrell,
Nora Jones, and all the rest...
And the year is not over yet...

Someone once said: "Gratitude is riches and complaint is
poverty...So I say..."the worst I ever had was wonderful!"
(maybe I'll get rich)..

But just so you know (Herbthe4, and others), I understand
your legitimate grievances...I hope they are resolved.

Unfortunatly I didn't join. But my reasons for joining would be first of all to support his creations, then to enjoy new music and videos and concerts.
The NPGNC is a good idea, which will probably take more time to improve.

I joined for the music only.I knew going in that it would be highly unlikely for me to take advantage of any concert or Celebration perks.I enjoyed year 1 very much.Year 2 couldve been better organized,but now that it is over,Im very pleased with what we got.

1. better concert seats
2. soundcheck access & price breaks on aftershows
3. the music we receive on a monthly/yearly basis

2.Vega aftershow (Copenhagen)
3.Getting ONA in the mail before non-members
4.Just being a part of it all

To be part of the "spirit" of NPG...
The music
The loyalty
The concerts (oh yeah!!!)...

I joined 4 the music and just to xperience the club. I feel that if we help support the club more artists will copy and do the same. On a side note, purple love i can relate to U. Every time something purple shows up at work I get clowned on! If they only knew...

The music and the hope that 2001 would be repeated with some radio shows and a lot of downloads which never happened.
Second was the chance at good concert seats, but it was only the most expensive seats in the house which for me is a
little too much or not.

Actually ALL the shows cost extra money, not just the Celeb. And non-members could go as a guest of a member just like ALL the other shows. No difference there.

I expected to hear experimental music from Prince...or just grooves that you wouldn't normally expect from him...
