After several attempts at contacting the music club, i finally got an answer from them regarding the remaining discs and when to expect them. Keep in mind, this is NPGMC and the complete specifications were not divulged. I asked them when i could expect the 2nd disc(out of the four they promised with membership) and this was the response:

The ONE NITE ALONE...LIVE! Box Set is being prepared right now 4 release. Look 4 it on ur doorstep very soon.

I am not sure if this is old news, bad news, good news or no news but it is certainly satisfying to finally know what is going on! Peace.

i am saying, Natasha, according to the peeps at npgmc, we will be getting this as part of our membership. or at least that is what that reply suggests.

i wonder what "getting ready 4 release" really means. It could be anything from the cds are just being pressed to putting postage on the boxes. thye can b so damn frustrating!

well, sir, miss, whatever, dont assume anything about my life.. to call this my main concern in life is a joke, simply because eye forget the very meaning of his name until eye return home at nite and visit this place, to see if perhaps 100 dollars eye gave months ago is actually paying.

Wow it would appear that the NPGMC are doing their old trick of changing the story because i was told that the new cds have not been planned yet and that the Live CDs were just an idea (and a 2 disc idea at that)

On our doorstep? If memory serves, the first ONA CD was listed as "In Processing" for over a month before it was sent out? Before it even began to be sent out. We should be receiving this CD in December or January, which would very likely mean it's the last release of the year.

How can they say it is a 2 cd idea when on their main page there is a press release about a 3CD LIVE CD??? and if that wasn't enuff 2 u, check the below out from the NPG Newz page:

"Well into the second year, 2002 NPG Music Club members have received even more new music, books, instruments and gear as well as soundcheck access, after-show parties and at least four new Prince CDs. With a $100 Premium Annual fee, the 2002 NPG Music Club proves that membership actually does have its privileges."

I know we have until March and 2 give them time etc - but what books? what instruments and gear - I had no idea I could get me some hashish!

in the concerts section, someone commented that at the rotterdam show, there weren't any tour books on sale. who wants to bet me $100 (c'mon, why not? everyone who joined the club this year, myself included, should be used to throwing $100 away) that he took the tour books off b/c they say that members will receive: ONA, the best of squiggle, madrid 2 chicago and last december?

and where the hell IS our ONA live, anyway? jesus!!! the cd's have been complete since the freaking celebration!!! that was 4 months ago. send those muthas OUT already, princey!! why you wanna treat us so bad?
