the only thing that bugs me about this whole thing is that, although the NPGMC is organized enough to send us the weird x-mas email and this spring's 'questionnaire' email, it isn't organized enough to inform us of what's upcoming in terms of releases. imo that's worrisome cause it means our hero isn't doing this, he's doing that when he said why should i do that when i can do this? so, color me confused but tolerant for now

well if this is true - time will tell - I will be very peeved off - i joined for the 4 Cds - understanding by the way it was touted that they would be 4 different cds - just like the ones u buy in the wrecka stow! not 1 half baked Cd (which is definately a keeper all the same!) and a live set - hell, this has cost me $200 in $NZ - I doubted he would tour New Zealand - and it'll cost me $1000+ to fly to Australia if he comes downunder (something I did 10 years ago - don't know if i'll do it now though - mind U if this is all we get it would be worth going over 2 give him a piece of my mind!) - But I will wait - surely he won't play us by just giving us a 3CD set that any1 can buy a month or 2 later - I mean come on - he told us Premium means exclusive- there ain't nothin else on his site I would want anyway ... i also thought he said that the NPGMC store would blow up this year with new stuff - more like fail miserable - but I will wait and pass judgement when the year is over - if this is what we get - he won't get any more $ from me! - 4 Cds means 4 CDs sure - this I know - but come on - we ain't gonna let ourselves b dupped r we - some1 at the soundchecks - ask him 4 the real story! When you signed up for the club, you were promised at least 4 cd's but never any specific titles. I don't know why people are so up in arms about not getting what was coming to them. There was never a guarantee of what the albums would be.

No, I didn't say that. I just think people should wait before they get mad about this box set. Who knows what the remainder of the club will be like? Not me. I think they are a bit behind schedule but that doesn't mean ONA live will be the final installment of year 2.

judging from posts in the past, a lot of people join once they know there is a concert coming to their town in order to get the soundcheck access, best seats, stc. So that being the case, would you join for $100 just to get the good seats and early admission? No CDs, no nothing else, just the good seats. I have noticed some big acts are charging very, very high prices for front section seats.

A 30 minute demo is all the new material he could come up with for this year. Sounds to me like someone needs to set his priorities straight.

I'm not the one to jump to conclusions to quickly, but to me this year's NPGMC has been far inferior to last year's version.

Last year every month there was something new and that was something to lok forward too. Some of the things weren't as great as others, but there was always the suspense and the surprise. The ahdio shows were often cool too.

This year we've got one 35 minute CD, half of which we already heard in last years club. To have the songs on a real CD is cool though. If the last 3 CD's will be the Live album I will not be happy.
This would mean you paid $25 for ONA and $75 for ONA Live, which will also be available through normal retail and I severely doubt it will cost $75 in shops.

Of course there's the added 'bonus' of member retail (you get the option to buy overpriced items with huge shipping costs.. They should at least offer some unique CD's through the club instead of candles and other crap).

The only thing from keeping this year's edition from disaster is the live concerts. I am glad he's coming to Europe and that I was able to get tickets for 3 shows. If this toiur wopuldn;t have happened this year's club would have sbeen completely lost. I feel sorry for the countries he didn't go to (especially Australia and some European countries, but also the places in the US which aren't close to the big markets), they are getting screwed this year if it will be like this.

The year's not over though and I think we should wait until February to see what we actually got. You never know what might heappen in the last 4 months of course.

You are wrong. By releasing titles NPG made it seem as if it would be four CD ALBUMS. Back when NPG first put out those E-mails, why didn't they say they were only ideas and not final.
