I think it would be funny to get ex Prince supporters together, namely those not joining NPGMC next year, for a little party. Post photos of the event, people smiling, drinking, listening to actually good music. You know, spending that $100 on something more worthwhile?

Or better yet, set up a site listing the top 100 things that are more worth spending your money on than NPGMC. The top 100 albums that are more worth spending your money on than NPGMC, etc etc etc.

'The less people that join, the better seats u will have at the next concert! People can choose 2 support an artist or not. But if u do support an artist directly like the NPGMC, then u should look 4ward 2 what the artist shares with u and not complain about what he should or should not be doing. If Prince needed that, he would have stayed with WB. The NPGMC is freedom, and Prince is free 2 release xactly what he wants, when he wants. And that is what we want 4 him as his strongest supporters, right?'

So a lot of people are simply relying on the 4 cds to fulfill their expectations of plopping down $100 to be member of the club. The lack of information that Prince and/or the NPGMC offers, to include Prince's apparent outright unwillingness to discuss the issues is perplexing to me and I can certainly see why many people feel the need to protest.

Prince can choose to run his business however he wants to. But as a consumer, we can also choose to support or not support his business based on whether or not we feel that we are getting our money's worth. And I think that the post like the one from "Tom" is a perfect example of what happens when people don't feel like they're getting their money's worth.

I've only got one thing to say to most of the people here, and that is PLEASE DON'T JOINT NEXT YEAR, and then when Prince does another tour I'll have a better view and hopefully the site won't crash again when I'm trying to get tickets.

Hopefully you will take my advise and your sad lifes will became better ones as some of you sound so obsess it seems to me you have nothing better to do but complain and complain.

I don't think it matters what Prince does with his music club, he could release 20 CDs a year for a lousy $100 and you lot will still complain.

- eye want 2 go 2 celly 2003;
- got 2 have the music (preferably CDs);
- eye wanna bitch & moan about the club when those things don´t materialize!

hey...I am up for the idea...we could spend less money all meeting in the middle of the country...Like pick a certain state...GIVE THEM THE ECONOMY BOOST...and we would pay less than if we attended the Celebration. And every year after pick a different state and give them our money at least we know it would be going to good use and we all get to meet. ( if you wanna meet me, that is)...I WILL GO...
