RAVE IN2 THE JOY FANTASTIC NOW 4SALE ON NPGMC RETAIL!!! Sorry if this has been posted already, but the remixed Rave CD is now being sold online straight from the retail section at NPGMC.com!!
That means no membership fees, no broken promises of front-row seats at concerts, no extra perks that never get delivered, no condescending responses from The Man's hacks who apparently feel it's our privilege to even have Prince's music in the first place and we should stop whining and shut up. If I'm whining, I apologize. But it just seems NPGMC membership is only worth it if you have DSL or something faster than dial-up (which I have), a CD-burner (which I don't have) and some general expertise in handling system crashes (which happen to me often). It may be old news to all of you, but I've been waiting for the remixed Rave for almost three years. Sad? Yes, but worth it. At $15 plus $6.50 for shipping, it's a bargain. I can say this because I've been waiting for Rave since the time they said it would be available through the retail section, all the way through when they suddenly decided only members would be able to buy it. Extra music is great if you can get it problem-free. And my PC has plenty of problems. Now I just have to wait for the darned thing to arrive. Just my two cents. | |

You're right - it has been close to 3 years since RaveIN2 was announced.

I remember it being announced that this S.E. cd was exclusively for members. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If you have been waiting 3 years you are going to be very disappointed because it's not a very good album. The remixes are brutal. It's probably the most pointless special edition album ever. | |

I was in the same boat, benmorell76. I ordered it the other day too after thinking for the longest time that I would never get it!
I know it's been cut down a lot but I'm a completist & I look forward to getting it. | |
