The English ticket system was shocking - they went on sale at 10am on a work day to NPGMC members and,buy teh sound of it,all were bought up by the same people within an hour. Next Ticketmaster denied there was a show an Saturday 5th and,after demanding to speak to the manager,hey reluctantly sold me 2 tickets for further back because they didnt want to split up groups of empty seats.

When I get there Prince decided it would be funto have the front rows sing "join the club" at myself and other members who werent lucky enough to get the full benefits of tehir $100 membership.Then,to rub salt in,he goes on to say that he has to leave to take his friends to teh aftershow because they joined the club - goodnight.

Wow - sounds like you got gypped!! I would not feel at all guilty about finding copies of the whole year's ahdios even if you weren't able to download from the npg site. After all - you paid for them. I wouldn't be surprised if they are available somewhere online. But I remember when the club ended they gave a few months warning that you could still download the entire year - before they took it all down. I burnt cd's plus took a backup of the whole year videos and all.

The first year of the club was awesome. This year has been quite a disappointment except for getting great seats and sound checks at his concert. Even if we do get another 3 cd's at the last minute - its not too exciting when you could just go and buy the same thing retail! I don't know . . . how are they planning on getting people to sign up next year?

Even if they can't add more music - like others have said - they need to make it more of a club for the members on the NPG website - message boards etc. The site is stagnant.
