Did anyone read the interview with Sheila E? The first question was rather odd for an "official" Prince site. I liked the way she ansered the question.

U can't study The Bible & then just sing about anything or say just anything. I feel that Prince's music now is a reflection of the man he is NOW, not who he was in 1984. And that's not for anyone to judge, that just IS. Prince has become much more than just the "Purple Rain Prince;" he's now a messenger of The Truth. Word!

The question was clearly asked light-heartedly and Sheila E took it waaaay too seriously. I'm sure the interviewer was well aware that Sheila and Prince are never going to mate and it's a shame that his/her humourous question went sailing over Sheila's head.

I posted that I thought Sheila misinterpreted the question because I didn't think the interviewer was asking when they were going to have children together, but was asking when there were going to have children period.Then I read the question again and realized that the last sentence in the question makes it obvious that they were talking about them having children together...so I edited my post.

Exactly! The question was asked in jest. It was Sheila, here, who didn't see the joke and tried to make the interviewer look stupid. Bear in mind that this is the woman who, when asked about her sexuality and the suggestion that she might be gay, answered that 'I'm all woman', suggesting that she thought that being gay might make her somewhat less of a woman.

I continually get the impression that Sheila E isn't as open minded and humourous as we'd like to think.
