I know there are several NPGMC members here whose email changed after the NPGMC went down. I'm one of those. We didn't get the Vegas presale emails, and I'm afraid that if there's a tour we won't get the presale emails on those, either.

Some of you know Samnation, who apparently still runs the NPGMC or 3121.com for Prince.

Will one of you please contact this gentleman and ask him how we can get our updated information to the proper people? You can refer him here, or tell us how to get in touch, either way. I'll even orgnote my email address if need be.

this is kind of a stab-in-the-dark suggestion, but rather than trying to contact samnation, i'd call the rio and see if they know how you could change that contact info. if not, they may have alternate resources for you.

do people STILL get NPGMC emails? after the first couple of vegas shows didnt they stop?

werent there 3 presale passwords and then it stopped?

It is unlikely more presale notices will go out for 3121.

1) People kept posting the secret Presale password on various Prince sites -- even thought the email specifically asked people not to do so (it would rob true NPGMC Members of the opportunity of being in the Member section), and
2) Ticketmaster totally screwed up the Member ticketing on the last one (a glitch allowed anywhere from 3 to 45 Member tickets to be bought at once [and without the password!])

But, you can now go to 3121.com and 'register' You cannot log in with your old NPGMC user name & password; you must re-register.
The process is within the section for orering the download of the new song, "Guitar."
~ You can still register without buying the song.


* btw: so you don't get the error message.. when you create the new passwword, make sure it has one non-alphanumeric (symbol) character in it, like:
Prince$3121 or 319*cream
or it won't let you register.

Sam sent me a MySpace message and said there is nothing left of the NPGMC any more, so there's no way to update any information. I registered at 3121 and have my fingers crossed.

Now, some of you junior lawyers can debate what, if anything, should be done about our "lifetime" memberships.

absolutely nothing can be done about the "lifetime" membership. The agreement specifically stated the lifetime of the club. That is all they are legally obligated to offer. The mods routinely expressed this on the npgmc boards.

IMO, if he charges another $25 for 3121, it is worth it and I would pay it. You spend that much on one trip to McDonalds with three people , or a night out for two to the movies.
