It is a medley; All Along The Watchtower/Best of U (I am certain Prince U-dified the title) And the addition of that first song just gives me negative JW vibes. Am I the only one? It has a stadium-rock feel, a bit like the One Of Us cover on the Emancipation album but better. | |

Woah wait a minute, Prince is covering "Best Of You"??? That was totally unexpected, I can't wait to see what he does with the song.
Didn't he get a little pissy a few years ago when the Foo's did a cover of Darling Nikki? They also did a cover of Drive Me Wild which was kinda fun. At some of their live shows, they also attempted Purple Rain, but Dave has mentioned they could never get their cover of that song to come out right. | |

Not asking WHERE, just asking for clarification--
is the leaked file the Guitar song, or the Along the Watchtower/Best of U clip from Howard Stern? I had the latter but then I went back to itunes to listen to it and it said the file path was gone.  I went back to the website where I got it from and the file is not longer available.

Another interesting thing is if this tracks is going to be completely open to anyone to download, that would mean 3121.com getting a lot of hits and I wouldn't be surprised if service was pretty slow on the day of the release. Also, perhaps this will be a new song previewed at the Superbowl and Prince is pre-empting the demand for it? [Edited 1/29/07 2:35am] Yes, lets hope it lives up to it's "Title" unlike Fury did.
