You can only play them in the computer where you downloaded them.
Unless you have formatted the computer without backing up the license, but I understand you're a guy t/y edit [Edited 12/26/06 2:00am]

The songs are DRM (digital rights managed), so if you misplaced/deleted the original licenses, you're out of luck.
Normally, if you DID misplace the licenses (or got a new computer), you'd just go on the Internet and download the licenses again. Since the NPGMC is on hiatus, you can't. I would still keep the song files though - if/when the NPGMC comes back online, I'm sure all your member information will remain intact.

I was told by a PP moderator that the only way to get the Musicology downloads (protected WMA files) into iTunes was to burn them to CD and re-import them as whatever I wanted. Then I could put them on an iPod. Although technically "illegal", they said it was the only workaround.
Unfortunately, burning through Windows Media Player only works on a PC (not a Mac). Someone was nice enough to send me a burned copy, but like you I still have the original files waiting for some kind of permanent solution. I wish he would just release the Musicology Store content on CD.
