I have just responded to NPGMC's email regarding the new retail items...

Hi,

I have some questions for you I am afraid They are kind of related to these new Member Retail items...

1) Is it known whether or not this CD single performance of Days of Wild is included on the new One Nite Alone Live box set?
- It is not.

2) Do you have anymore details on a tracklist or release date for the ONA Live box set yet?
- There is no more info available at this time. We would prefer it b a surprise 4 the members.


3) If Prince is successful in securing some European dates and venues for a tour, will the ONA tour book be available to buy at those dates and venues?
- We have no info yet on dates.


4) Would Prince consider adding CDs of last years monthly membership downloads and AHDIO shows to the retail section? They could even be in CD-R format with the actual files (as opposed to CD Audio format). This way those of us with average internet access who did not join last year because of download issues could still access these jams.
- We don't xpect 2 b doing that but u never know.

I have now updated with NPGMC's answers, that I received today. How they do not know if DOW is on ONA Live I find unbelievable if it is complete and ready to be sent out. European fans note that they have no info on tour dates yet. Fingers crossed for the answer to number 4. Ever the optimist eh? Still none the wiser are we?

But even so, why would whoever answers the club email know what is or is not on the box set? they aren't working on it. It's not their project. all they are doing is answering emails from impatient fans. the ones who can't wait until christmas day to find out what they got, they gotta know NOW. so I don't find it hard to believe that they would not know the tracklist. Chances are only Prince, his engineers, and his package designers know for sure. Most likely the NPGMC staff will find out when we do. And what difference does it make if we know now or 2 months from now?

1.Why spend the $$$ to buy the DOW single if the song is on the Live cds.
2.If you wait the cd single may no longer be available.

I don't belive the song will be on any of the cds so I bought a copy.

NPGMC clearly states that 'DOW' is NOT on the 'ONA Live set'.

If some of you would just learn to read then such pointless speculation and petty bitching could be avoided.

Its a single that's kindly been made avaliable. It isn't life or death. Order the CD or get over it.

The single ordered throuugh the club has three tracks on it:

Days of Wild radio edit
Days of wild full version
1+1+1=3

It says from the forthcoming One Nite Alone live CD.

So are you buying the cd single now that you know the only difference between the cd single & the box set is an edit of DoW?

Just to add to the confusion: where it says "...from the forthcoming..." it may be referring ONLY to the 1+1+1=3 performance since this is not the same recording as the one from the Xenophobia celebration that was subsequently posted on NPGMC...

I asked NPGMC to clarify, they said

Hello

The in4mation we have says that "Days Of Wild" is not on the One Nite Alone...Live! Box set. However, we r not involved in the direct producing and manufacturing of this CD set, so in4mation can change up until it's release, depending on the artist's wishes.

So I guess nobody knows for sure but Prince and whoever is producing/manufacturing the CD set!

And us when we get it!

I'm going to shut up about this now. Sorry Mr7 it appears you were right after all about NPGMC's answer (I guess I'm not quite ready to move onto "The Fox In Socks" yet)
