Sorry I haven't posted for ages (as if I'm expected to post everyday! ) but after surfing the NPG site just now, I noticed the latest news concerned a teasing suggestion of a mega-disc Xenophobia set. Now I have one question...

If you are from the UK, are you a) a member of the 'NGP Music Club', and b) have you yet received any CD's (e.g the One Night Alone piano thing - was that sent out?)...

Before I 'donate' my hard earned dosh I need to know whether membership means lots of new music, or lots of emails asking where my new music is... Hope you can enlighten me!

I'm from Shropshire and I received my One Nite Alone CD only a few days after it was 'released'. Even if we only get the four CDs and no concerts, I think that for £72 (approx what my membership cost for the year) it's not bad. How much must it cost to post a CD from the U.S.?

And if Prince does tour Europe later this year...

Yes ONLY the ONA CD has been sent out...Some members have recieved theirs..some have not... to say if it worth joining...depends...I am a person who likes to be in for the long run and is hoping NPG will last...but you never know the way things are going right now.. Even though I recieved mine quick you never know. Next CD's cycle I might be one of those still waiting...they were sent out starting in May and we are now headed towards Sept..Some members have not recieved their ONA and that is here in the U.S...IMHO, I think the ONA cd's should have been sent out to the European members first...Sinse we get easier access to Celebrations and more concerts...I mean just to keep the membership fair to all members...ONLY my Opinion...! I feel for all who still to this day are waiting for their ONA CD...wherever they may be...

I have not heard of any members still waiting for the "One Night Alone" cd besides those members who signed up late (who will have to wait until the second cd ships).

Cheers for that, useful information there. Personally I reckon that membership for euro fans means CD's rather than concert priviliges...considering that prince can get away with having so many small-venue concerts over in the states, together with the rehearsal sessions - what with all those many people over there. It seems kind of surreal to envisage an intimate rehearsal session at wembley arena prior to the main event. S'ppose Brixton academy could work. Then again it depends on how many uk members he has. Anyway, cheers again!

I am a member of the NPGMC, and I live in West Sussex (UK). I have not received ONA yet (It will be ten weeks this Thursday since I joined).

I believe that the money I paid (£68) would be money very well spent if I got 4 cd's that are club exclusives! If and when I get ONA,I'll be a happy man! If the boxset arrives I would explode!!!

I'm just a bit annoyed with the responces I get from NPGMC when I mail them. They never seem to answer my question, and their response throws up even more questions.

But hey! I am impatient!

*PLEASE NOTE: The CDs r not sent out on a continual basis. They r sent out in batches at the time of release. When each individual CD is released, they r sent 2 all the members and not at any other time.
If u join AFTER a CD is first released, u will still get that CD but not until the next batch is sent out. All 2002 Members, regardless of when they join, will get the SAME 4 CDs.

So I guess you will have to wait until they get around to mailing out the second disc.
