The club made alot of grand announcements of a retail section exploding with merchandise, listings of forthcoming albums in the tour book, remarks of ONA coming soon to a monitor near you, chat rooms, and all kinds of other wonderful activity. The site sat still for a majority of the months out of the year and didnt do SHIT. And to top it all off they could barely pull themselves together at the last minute to finally fulfill the last 3 CDs they owed members, losing peoples orders, sending damaged merchandise, and even at one point having to email us asking us if we got our package, because frankly they had no clue.

In the hindsight of all this, they at least posted Xpectation.

But contrary to what you're assuming about some of us, I won't be joining next year.

Why don't you join twice if the 100 bucks means nothing to you, to compensate.

There are thousands of musicians going independent of major record labels these days. You can access their music with much greater ease, at a cheaper price, and with much less wait and speculation than NPGMC. These are people I will continue to support.

It's one of the main reason most of these "NPGMC protesters" come to Prince.org often for the latest details.

If they are not a member, they get NPGMC music through their filesharing buddies who may be members. There must be an NPGMC for these hypocrites to get new tracks. They often make comments about NPGMC tracks before he distributes the new releases to stores. These are more reasons for people to not really pay attention to their "self-righteous" preaching.

Most of these "Prince-Envy" Folks post way too often (on Prince.org) to trust their judgement.
