I joined the club and the org right around the same time and was embraced at the club and attacked at the org. The amount of joy put forth by regular orgers at the club closing was hurtful. Yeah, that's something to celebrate. The best part is that a lot of you are going on about how the club was overrun with religion and worship of god and/or Prince. Well ya know what, I don't see those people coming to the Org. The people I see coming here are the free thinkers. The open minded folk that are what made the Club enjoyable. Yet there is hate spewed upon us. Like we're a WMD come to wipe out the Org. The best part for me though, is that this is something that we all have in common. The thing that originally brought us together was Prince. Pah. Whatever. I'm done. I'm beginning to think somebody was right when they said Prince has the worst fans. So, when the Club re-opens better than before, I'll see y'all there..... right?

The last couple years of the Club there was rarely any talk of the Org, let alone multiple threads about a multitude of topics discussing the Org. And sure, nobody is perfect on either side. Not sure anybody is claiming to be. I just think there is a good amount of people that are somewhat shocked at the vitriolic celebration of the Clubs demise. As has been mentioned by other "Clubbers", nobody ever wished for the Org to close down. Quite a few Club members were bummed out when HQ was having it's legal woes. I know for a fact that a large portion of the Club members were already members at the Org anyway. So why the hate? How did the members of the NPGMC wrong the Org? It's a mystery to me. And I'll say again, it proves a lot of what IS said about this place. You are just as closed-door cliquey as any other website with an established group of users. 3121 - don't you wanna come?

I think there's truth to all of what is said about each site but most is bs. I do think that many of the experiences that some ppl had experienced at the club is very valid and hopefully won't be carried over into whatever new creation prince comes up with.

I think its cool that some can easily go back and forth without a hitch but not act as if the issues were some fairytales. And see what IS said about this place WE KNOW and there's no denial about it. There's much denial about the attitudes at the club. I just say call it what it is and keep it moving.

I'll say it again, we SHOULD all be able to go from one site to the next without issue but damn.

We can argue this until we are blue in the face, but just as we can admit problems we have with the Org, you should also be able to at least acknowledge that the feeling across the board is not all imaginery.

I know I've been humbled because as much as I love the Org and HQ, I miss NPGMC already.
