Here's my PERSONAL interpretation of it:

There are two questions ('Have you ever seen a record exec dance?'etc) that seem to lend credence to the idea that Prince has a problem with Universal.

The first question appears humorous, but has an alarming notion in it of Prince 'giving up' music. Suprisingly, the alternative suggested is a fine, but menial job (rather than producing other acts, doing other projects etc) indicating humility.

I have personally seen many prominent and successful Jehovah's Witnesses give up their occupations to work full-time as a Jehovah's Witness Minister. This is called 'Pioneering'.

Of course not all do retire completely from their professions, but this is the very first time I have ever seen Prince so much as mention 'giving-up' music officially.

As a side note, I once heard a talk where a Witness who was a multi-millionaire used to clean the toilets at Jehovah's Witness conventions to keep his 'humility'.

Unlike most of society, Jehovah's Witnesses tend to frown on academic or monetary or 'worldly' success. They give praise to those who reject Further Education for spiritual interests and those who clean, window clean or do otherwise menial jobs to keep spiritual interests first. It is these people who are looked up to and made examples of.

Regardless, jokingly or otherwise, Prince seems to be asking if he would be 'bothered' or 'disturbed' doing something else not music-related. Of course, Prince does NOT need to be a waiter, but if he decided to dedicate himself full-time to the door-to-door ministry he would be out in public a great deal.

In question three, he mentions cow's milk again, which reminded me of his Vegan kick and songs like 'Animal Kingdom'. I was suprised he was feeling this strongly about Veganism again. It isn't 'typically' JW, but then again, nothing about Prince is.

The other questions all regard music. Prince seems to be considering on-line outlets again and how regularly fans would buy his music.

I find this staggering from a man who has just had a Billboard Number One. No mention is made at all of '3121', the forthcoming single or party.

There is no tone of 'celebration' or happiness at '3121' and it's success.

Instead, the questionaire sounds bitter, angry and conflicted. The humour is there, but it is sarcastic and biting, not particularly good natured.

There is nothing here that 'calms' my thoughts or negates the information I've heard; in fact, in my view this even adds fire to it. The questionaire seems so contradictory and confused. That's my 2 cents.
