I think if NPGMC has got a bad rep it is due to the slackness of the $100 per year club that the $25 for life club The sweet I ronty is that you got less for your money and more hatred when you paid $100 than the cheaper version | |

I was agreeing I suppose...I was saying that its worth the price of $25 just to say you are a part of it...even if you havent yet/never experience the perks that are meant to be up for grabs. I was trying to point out that when it was $100 they were promising all these things that never showed up but,when its $25 with no promises, it smuch much much better I agree totally with your ratings | |

looking back.. i'm not sure how big of a difference it made with me.. since I am a member i can review what i bought and re download things.. thats about it.
the price doesnt change too much.. so its all up to you i guess.. i certianly don't explore the site | |

I don't know how anyone can say No it isn't worth the money really.
$25 ain't "that" much, and over a few years it'll pay itself back on member discounts for downloads and store purchases anyway. But to have the chance of extra tix for shows and that, I think its well worth it. Just think of the fans in Australia 04 who got to see Prince 11 times in 5 days or something - soundchecks, gigs, aftershows. The board is terrible though, some scary sycophants on there, and the mods are very annoying. I think the thing is on one hand the site goes on about being first for 'news' but then clearly when Prince signs agreements not to announce certain things (like with 3121) its not "first" at all and it pisses people off. But I'd definately say go for it, but if you hate all Princes music from like 1999 (the year not the album) onwards then perhaps you won't find a huge amount you like in the download store. | |
