My $25 paid for itself really fast, in the form of all the Ticketmaster fees I didn't have to pay when I bought concert tix directly from the club. Even if that wasn't the case, some people are acting like a one-time $25 fee for lifetime membership is like putting a down payment on a house or something. So we didn't get a wealth of perks in the past year or so. Be patient. Your lifetime membership isn't up yet. And one thing I've learned about the forums over there is, they are what they are. If you don't like the climate over there, don't post there. But personally, I think the forums at the club have improved immensely over the past year - not just in moderation, but in the way club members treat each other. It's not perfect, but what site is? It's the internet, some people are always going to delight in acting like asses.

My two cents worth: I joined the club just to get the benefit of purchasing concert tickets on line without all the bullshit associated with TicketMasters, etc. The other stuff is a bonus as far as I'm concerned. Sure the forums can be trying. When I first joined I felt like an intruder in the discussions. It did seem very cliqueish, but I was welcomed with opened arms soon enough. You cannot use curse words, even mild ones like ass and bitch, but it's Prince's site, so if he doesn't want to see that type of stuff on his site, then who am I to dictate what he should do?

I think it's the best $25 Prince investment I've made. I went to 4 Musicology concerts in 4 different cities. At each concert, I HAD FRONT ROW SEATS! I'm not talking front row of the stadium seating, I'm talking FRONT ROW ON THE FLOOR NEXT TO THE STAGE seats. I had a system to my purchasing and it worked. I would not have been able to do it if I were trying to buy from any other source.

So, if you don't like the setup over there, don't visit. It's free here and you can pretty much say what the hell you want to over here with no consequence.
