This twins thing is embarassing and kinda disturbing.

I really could not dig the twins less.
The whole concept and they twins themselves have annoyed me since I saw them at Nokia. There is nothing special about them other than that there are two of them. If you saw only one without knowing there was a twin, she would be completely unremarkable. They have no je ne sais quois. I'm not one of those die-hard W&L fans, but I think with Wendy & Susannah it was different b/c they weren't relying on the "we're twins" gimmick. They were independent of each other, and Prince didn't pimp them out like he is with M&N. And the pictures are atrocious. Where's the expression? Kick 'em to the curb, Princey!  The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp. | |

Prince had to be the one doing the directing and taking the photos at that photoshoot. I can't imagine any professional photographers putting their reputation on the line by allowing those pictures to see the light of day. | |
