The Celebration proved that people from various backgrounds can party 2gether — but will we ever b able 2 worship in Truth 2gether?

We can never really be the judge of when we're united in truth. Truth happens whether we see it or not. Truth is larger than our ability to define, value, judge or weigh it. It just is. Truth doesn't depend on our conscious ability to believe. It doesn't need our belief to have strength. Truly.

Many say that one’s own relationship with God is a “personal thing.” That being said, how would that work next 2: “A family that prays 2gether stays 2gether.”? Just how big is r human family?

It depends on how broad the brush. Does your worldview wear blinders? The human family makes for a damn large dinner table. Are YOU gonna cook dinner for everyone, or should we all pitch in and share our favorite recipes with each other?

2 say “Amen” at the end of a prayer simply means that u agree with the prayer. If someone had closed the Celebration in prayer, would u have bowed ur head and simply made up ur own prayer in ur mind?

It's Prince's party. If he believes in a Christian God, it's his house and he can do as he pleases. If I want to respectfully step outside, it's to allow for his choice to express himself without lending my own vibe of alienation. Sometimes I can vibe with the worship of other faiths if I feel that the love and devotion transcends a particular boundary of dogma; Lovesexy was that vibe for me. Rainbow Children is more of a compromise, but a fascinating one nonetheless.

What point is there 2 pray 2 different Gods if there is only one?

They're all the same God when you get down to the Truth. An artist might have many faces to different fans, but at the end of the day, that artist is only one person, with many facets. Some might call God the greatest artist of them all. Who says the God to which you pray is the "right" one, and mine is the "wrong" one? The sense of love, peace and well-being is the same. Hence, one God. Many faces. A leaf doesn't need to believe in photosynthesis to turn green. You don't need to believe in my God to feel Loved.

We hear talk of separation of God and State… State of What? Mind? R the efforts made by certain members of society 2 remove God from State a sign of progress or regress?

Never mind the possibility that separation of God and State could make life less alienating for those whose spirituality leans to the left of Judeo-Christian belief. Consider this: Why do some people consider it a blessing to cheapen God's name by putting it on something as dirty as money? Why do we consider it so important to attach God's name to a nation that has broken the rule "Thou Shalt Not Kill" over and over again?

Y have all of mankind’s attempts at creating UTOPIA 4 itself failed so far?

Because we aren't intelligent enough to appreciate a life without conflict. We just aren't.

How can r society eliminate XENOPHOBIA?

Taking the blinders off our worldview. Protecting the sanctity of who you are while appreciating the sanctity of others. Acknowledging that you're a part of the world. Loving that fact. Being who you are, and letting others be who they are as well. Love.

7 days of music, peace, and love — and then back 2 the “real world”… How real is the “real world”?

We all know the answer to that already. Suddenly I'm in the mood to watch "The Matrix". Hmmm...

What is the difference between AGREEMENT and HARMONY?

With agreement comes harmony. With harmony comes the power to agree.

WOW!!

I'm sorry they moved this thread to the digital wasteland of "NPG Music Club Discussion". Some of the best and most intelligent stuff I've read has come from these reponses.

Maybe there was something to them after all?
