I would like to join the npgclub mainly for the tickets before the tour comes (im not taking any chances) I wondered if anyone knows if u can just join up through the main join page if your in the UK. if I pay through my card on the site will it take the right amount and convert it into dollars or what?

Sure there were alot of NPGMC memebrs that the system worked for but myself and a few other members I bumped into at the back of Hammersmith Appollo found that,when they logged on to get their ticket booking started, NPGMC had no record of their memebership details - I just kept getting invalid log on messages.

So, if you are to join, join for what it is...$25 to say that you are a member of NPGMC...dont expect anything new or exclusive and you wont be disapointed

Yes, paying by credit card it automatically works out the exchange rate to dollars - on your statement it will be in pounds.

If you are only joining for the sake of good concert tix, you could wait right at the last minute when you actually know Prince is touring the UK - there will be some form of advance notice anyway.

Expect lots of traffic online the day tickets go on sale, from experience you have to be patient with screens loading slowly! For the ONA tour, I was on a 56k modem, and the screen kept going black, and I kept restarting from the beginning thinking it had crashed - from reading posts on here at the time, the trick was not to panic and restart, since it put you at the back of the queue again! So I was patient letting the screen download and eventually got through.
