Another example of how NOT to build a website. The average web user will wait approximately three seconds for a page to load. I own an ad agency and I would get fired (rightfully so) if I designed a site like this for a client. Too much eye candy and too slow. They are most likely losing users who have slow connections. Even on a fast connection, the site is unbearably slow. Nothing wrong with simplicity. Too many web designers forget that and use the site as an opportunity to show off their skills. This is a classic case of form not meeting function.

... uh I think you missed the point of it being a fan/resource site built by a fan for the sole purpose of providing album cover art for other fans. It's not a retail site built under commission dude.

that being said ... THANKS grafix!
Thank you for providing all that artwork for all these years, especially all that custom work you did for the NPGMC tracks/albums and "ahdio" shows. I still have them printed out and in their jewel cases. I like those NPGMC CD-Rs kept like that. They just look more complete thanks to you.

qmbc must be commenting on the new musicology store on npgmc.com

Lots of grapgics happening there. But it looks great, and my computer can deal with it.

I think I've just coined a new word: 'grapgics'

biggrin

Sorry about that ...

Oh, in that case, heck yeah. The whole site drags for me on a T-1 as well as dual 1.5 gig processor with 2 gigs of memory. A dial up user would be like "F-THAT!"

More importantly with a retail site ... Wouldn't you want it most easy for the user to buy stuff?
