if u plan to attend concerts, it is definately worth it. for one, you get the better seats...members get to buy tix before the go on sale to the public.

second, your tix are cheaper....when you buy through ticketbastard, they charges taxes AND their surcharge...u dont have either of these when buying through the club, so the membership pays for itself. during musicology, i bought two members tix to a concert, total cost 150, if i had bought them through ticketbastard, it would have been more like 175 with the taxes and fees.

Yep that's about right. Never used to be like that tho. Yrs ago I joined and paid my fee which was about half the current fee if I remember correctly, and then the following year I was asked to renew and pay again, but since then nothing. You're a member for life...unless you get banned!

I first joined when the memberships were 100 bucks. Per year. I'm not mad though, it was worth it for me.

it's 25 bucks for life....how can that not be worth it. The concert perks are worth it alone and you get downloads cheaper too.

and contrary to what they say...I don't kiss ass or hang out in member conection (I guess that's a bad thing?) and I ain't ever been banned.

i'm about to join. i can't wait!! i'm goan join soon as my paycheck comes in. because i got about 2 dollars to my name right now. lol. the concert thing will def. be huge for me and my friend, as we are planing on following him around for a few dates (as in going to conseative concerts, not stalking)

For getting pre-sale concerts, it is most definitely worth it. But that's the only thing I get out of the club. I can't download music because of some license problem that I just can't seem to fix, and the forums are boring.
