Anxiety,

You said it well. I never really thought of the topic, because i use and interact on both sites. There indeed complementary, and each has it's own - completely different - values.
As i did in the past, i want to thank you and the rest of the org-crew for their work. You all give us a platform to get informed and to express ourselves. Which is great.
And like somebody else said: we're all in it together. We're all having this Purple disease. One more than the other and also the fever gets higher on different times. But we're all are conteminated. So that unites us.
So keep it up. As long as the Man makes music, let's stay together!

Art.

The way I see it, we all have a choice of which place to go and for what.

The only reason I go to NPGMC is when any music, tickets or videos are released. I don't go there to get "enlightened" in the forums or the chat rooms as it's way too scarey and there's hardly any objectivity or reasoned debate, unlike the ORG where you can get ALL SORTS of topics being discussed, including unreleased bootlegs which still contain some of my all time favourite Prince tracks.

Plus I also have to give lots of credit to the mods on here who are by far the more reasoned, knowledgable and tolerant mods out of the two sites.

I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've been to NPGMC in the last 6 months, whereas I come to the ORG almost every day.

Both sites have their good and their bad! There have been times when I've absolutely loved and hated both places. That happens when groups of wonderfully diverse people get together and openly express themselves. shrug

It's my love for Prince and his music that's brings me and that's what keeps me coming back for more. I'm a Prince fan, damn it! That's all that's important. I can't be bothered with that whole us or them nonsense. Hell, I frequent all of the sites official and unofficial. wink I'm us, them and then some! lol

Though, with all this 3121 12/13 talk, going on. I think I'll be hanging out at the club a little more often. Especially, after seeing the first photo of Tourbook Gallery 1, backstage. wink
