The club operated differently each year. During year 1 only it featured these as downloads. . ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift. |

He didn't do one for October 2001 because he released a download of The Rainbow Children. I think my favorites are the first 2 (Feb/Mar) and September, which he compiled after 9-11. A few months ago, Apple starting offering "Podcasts", which are almost identical to Prince's "Ahdio" shows. He was way ahead of the trend. |

A few months ago, Apple starting offering "Podcasts", which are almost identical to Prince's "Ahdio" shows. He was way ahead of the trend.
You got that out before I could. All this talk about podcasts made me think of the ahdio shows. Doesn't always seem like he is doing the smart thing (at the time we didn't want the audio shows, we wanted individual downloads), but eventually the industry moves in that direction. But by then, he has gotten bored and moved on to something else. Rod319 | |
