Should I join the Npg music club?

If I want floor seats for the next P concert?

Enigmoid

If you can spare $25 and you're a Prince fan then join the Club.

You will get your money's worth at some point. When that point is will be up to you.

If that's your only reason for joining the club, no rush, might as well wait until a tour is announced! Just in case he comes up with a new website/fan club/approach to doing business. wink

Hopefully he will keep the presale thing going for his future concerts, it worked very well on the Musicology tour. And yes, it's your best bet for getting great seats (and without the usual "service charges" and certainly without a scalper markup). nod

Thanks for the responses. I was so upset at the Musicology concert last year because I didn't get a chance to get on stage (I was in the first section). Then I found out you have to be a club member to get floor seats...

Actually, it just depends how many tickets are sold through the NPGMC presale for a given show. I got a row 10 seat for Reno via the regular ticket sales company (tickets.com for that show), I wasn't an NPGMC member at the time of the presale.

On the other hand, I remember seeing some folks griping in the NPGMC forums because they ended up sitting up in the lower level sections; I think this might have been in L.A. The idea is, they just dole out the tickets starting from the best ones and going back.

Oh, and in case you didn't know, when you buy tickets thru their presale, you won't actually know where you're sitting until you pick up your tickets at the show. nod
