Here I am once again pondering my demise at the NPG Music Club.
I am starting to feel that complaining about my demise has just made me look like a big baby. The bottom line is that they can ban anyone the want. I am proof of that complaining only makes one look like a fool. Not to be over dramatic but it is sort of how Prince looked in the eyes of certain critics when he wrote SLAVE across his face. The thing that hurt is that I feel like I LOST access to one of the few things that give me happiness and joy in this world...that being PRINCE. I know this probably being over dramatic but being a Prince Fan has always brought me a lot criticism and teasing from so called friends and family members.
Early in his career I got it for is overt sexuality. Then he showed us his ass on MTV dressed in bright yellow. I still here crap for that one. Then he plastered SLAVE across his face and I heard it some more. But you know what? I NEVER once floundered in my SUPPORT of the amazing ARTIST KNOWN AS PRINCE.
So, I guess being banned just hurt me because I felt like I was being banned from access to Prince.
So the bottom line is that I still do not like Michael Jackson and not because he is FREAK (Prince is FREAKY but in a good way). It is because of what he has been accused of, MORE THAN ONCE. It is because he himself condones his lifestyle of sleeping with young boys. And it is because the Man has literally made himself into a GHOUL. His face really scares my children and me.
My 7-year-old son runs and hides his eyes whenever MJ is on television.
And finally, I don't like his music. Period. I am a Prince FAN. Always have been and ALWAYS will be! Prince's music makes me happy, it makes me dream and it makes my heart pound with JOY! In my eyes as well as a lot of other people, Prince and Michael used to be in competition with one another.
To me it's sort of like sports. I like the Prince team. I do not like the team. Try to a get a devout Raider fan to support the 49ers. See what I mean, that's how I am. Go Prince Go! BOOOO Michael, you SUCK! I know this is getting long but I just had to get all this off my chest.
In closing, I would like to apologize to anyone that I offended either here of over there at NPGMC. I might have been a little "Gung Ho" with my feelings and that is because I feel so passionate about protecting children. And it is not because I was sexually abused (that was PM'd to me at the NPGMC) it is because me and my little brothers were physically abused when we were children. It didn't really bother me to be abused but it hurt to watch it happen to my little brothers. So there it is there. You now know more about me than a lot of my closest friends know about me.

I've seen many people rant over being banned from the club & I don't get it.
What is so great that being banned from the forums is so upsetting?
Do you find the people on the NPGMC forums so special, so witty, so friendly that the forums on Prince.org or Housequake seem lame in comparison? Because to me there is little differnece between them. The NPGMC forums seem like they are for fans that want to kiss Prince's ass. Whats to miss if you can't participate in that crap?
I paid my $25 so I should be able to say what I want!!!
Get over it - its just a message board on a musicians site.
What ever you did to get banned - well you blew it so wipe your tears, grow up & find some other saloon to hang your hat.

i don't know....i mean if they had a warning system, that might be better.....but to just ban someone straight out like that is kind of mean.....then again the club is sort of new so maybe you can blame it on that.....the good side is they have not really had much going on in a while so you are not missing much.....plus you could probably get a friend or someone to just get a membership and use their logon info....if you really wanted to

it sounds as if you'd like to be a member at the club...I've known quite a few folx who've gotten banded and then unbanned...happens all the time...some bannings are only for a limited time. If you got any friends that visit the NPGMC, have them PM a PP, about it...they will let you back in.

The problem is this is the upteenth post from some member of the NPGMC who gets banned from the forums & then comes on here & whines & cries & denounces Prince & rants on & on & on about the forums & the moderators & blah blah blah blah blah.
It gets boring after awhile & I want it to stop.
Just grow up & stop complaining.
