Has anybody ever asked and successfully received a refund from NPGMC? I'm not looking to do so...but with all the complaints people are having I'd think somebody would have tried...

i got a refund on the SOV and Beautiul Exp. videos...it wasn't very easy but eventually they agreed to refund the $40 if i returned the videos...of course i as still out the s&h both ways....still makes me pretty mad to think about actually!!! definitely the low-point of year one through the club.

I'm trying to get a refund now. I ordered (and paid for) 2 tickets to the Oakland ONA tour but only used one. After 8 emails and going back and fourth, they finally emailed and stated that they are not giving refunds at this time.

I'm about to go to the Better Bus. Bureau.

What a joke! I cannot believe you think you are entitled to a refund because you only USED one of the TWO tickets that you bought! Can you imagine if everyone bought more than one ticket and then after the concert asked for a refund for all tickets they purchased except the one the actually used for themselves? This would put artists out of business! I can't believe someone would actually pursue this!

People don't even get refunds for concert tickets if they missed a flight, got in a car wreck, ended up in the hospital, etc. And you think you should get a refund because you just didn't USE your ticket number two? Unbelievable!

You can't get refunds on concert tickets for most artists. It's not just NPGMC that won't give refunds.

I think the way it works is that no refunds are given if the show takes place as scheduled. If the performer cancels the show, then refunds may be given. You can't get a refund just because you bought an extra ticket.

i had paid for the beautifull experience, and then they cancelled it and refunded the price of the video but not the shipping costs id paid even tho nothing was sent, after much nagging they refunded the shipping cost aswell which is about half the total cost 2 new zealand

Yes! I joined the NPGMC last Oct. Paid 4 premium membership, and as of last month, they told me i am no longer a member, and need to renew!I have send so many e-mils 2 them , and have had no luck! I am so P___d Off! And will not recived the CD and am missing out on alot of music , im sure! Annastasa

Apparently you missed the e-mail, but it was also posted on the NPGMC website and discussed here at the .org.

Sorry for your frustration, but you really can't pin this one on NPGMC. You do have to be careful and pay attention to the terms of any contract/agreement you make. Read the fine print and pay attention to communications that are sent your way.

If you decide to join the 2002 edition of the club, you will receive the new CDs -- or whatever we do end up getting. If it's any consolation, you are not missing out on any music right now, since none has been released yet. The only thing people hve receive so far this year are advance tickets, soundchecks, afterparties and other perks on the One Nite Alone tour if you attended that.

I got a refund on $100, I joined the club the 9th feb 2002, and the new package came 1week after.. when the 2002package started my membership was cancelled.. 2weeks after I paid another $100 (Which means I paid $200 for 1week and the 2002package) and I asked them if I was going to be tricked for another $100 again, and the replied that they didn't like the word tricked, but they could see that my membership only lasted for 3-5days so they'd give me back the $100 so I only had to pay $100 once.. I thought it was really nice, they treated me really nice, they asked if I wanted my old name back (DraQzi) But I didn't want to make too much trouble so I just stayed with "Sandra"..

I joined NPGMC in Oct. 2001 and have not been able 2 get in since march! I am so bummed, i have written so many e-mail, and response has been oh Well! I just don't know what 2 do, i really dont want a refund, i just what back in! It was an early X-Mas gift from my son, and i have had 2 lie 2 him, and tell him i love it and getting lots of music. Any Suggestions out there? It's beyond me Prince would do this 2 one of his very Loyal Fams, It is his staff! Bummer! Peace Annastasa

Obviously 'Annastesia' got her user name before you 'AAnnastesia' or else you wouldn't have added an extra "A" to your name.
