its not his best cover.but eye think its nice and simple.maybe the symbol.is there because some of the songs were made in his symbol years.the eigs are 4 a new life .but what does it cares .its nice .and most inportant we got new music.

I TOO THOUGHT IT ONLY HAD 4 TRAX SO I WROTE TO NPGMC AND THEY SAID IT IS A FULL ALBUM AND IS NOT AT ALL LIKE A DEMO - THEY DONT KNOW WHY IT HAS BEEN CALLE DTAHT BY PRINCE.

BY THE WAY I THINK THE FLOWERS AND SYMBOL THING MEANS THAT TAFKAP IS PUSHING UP FLOWERS = DEAD!!!

No one is complaining I was only pointing out that this is an album length cd not a Single length....as the agreement doesnt specify any length that the 4 cds are going to be.

For your info I dont think I could be blamed if I did think NPGMC were out to screw me over (WHICH I DONT) because my experience with tehm last year was a disaster....Charged twice,trouble getting Rave etc etc. This year however it has gone very well so far - still got my fingers crossed that a World tour will happen but I wont hold my breath after last year.

I think the type on the cover is kinda s p o o k y. Does anybody else think so? It looks like the kind of type that could easily be used on the front cover of Phantom of the Opera or something like that. Cool.

I think the spooky type (long, narrow & pointed) flows well with the long, narrow stalk & pointed bottom end of the symbol. And, conversely, the pointed type is in direct contrast with the round smoothness of the eggs, the round top on the symbol, the round sunflower and the softness of the heart shaped nest. I like that. The type definitely stands out to me. There's a lot in there if you're willing to really look at it. It's neat. Maybe Prince will reveal some of "his secrets" regarding this cover at the Celebration if someone gets the chance to ask him. That would be great.

I really like the TRC cover as well. It's very nice. But, I tend to be drawn to graphic design more than illustration. Personal preference. I like this cover.

I think that this cover is a lot more interesting than some of his album covers of late (Rainbow Children excepted). Rave Un2/In2's cover was as cheap looking as NPS and Crystal Ball. This at least appears to have some kind of cryptic meaning, which I like in an album cover.

Hey...a trend has begun...2 Prince albums in a row without Prince's face on them....I think the album cover art is fine...at least it doesn't look like NPS or RAVE or Lovesexy.

Forget about the cover, what do these samples sound like? I'm not sure I understand the concept behind the album, is it a live recording of the most recent tour or something else? It says something about voice and piano so does it mean only the second half?

Just found something interesting out - Unless you have received an email confirming dispatch you can assume that your copy hasnt been mailed yet.

I just got an email from NPGMC and they said that they liek to wait untill they are sure your copy has been sent because people get angry if they are told it is on the way when it may not be.

Still Im sure It'll be worth the wait.

You are very talented, but, I was wondering what's up with the pictures, "after the muse" and "sensual everafter". Your view goes from paradise to a land of desolation. I don't think of Prince's music this way.

From, what I see...it looks terrible. The type selection sucks. Like they're running out of fancy type to pick out on their computers.

Maybe it will make sense when we get all the CD's. BUT it's the second if not the worst cover since New Power Soul and Emancipation.

But I won't talk anymore about it until I see the whole package. Should be in my mail box soon.
