So, I was never told that I was not permitted to share my emails with my friends. For an organization that preaches the Truth they sure do seem to have a problem when anyone else is Truthing!!!
Additionally,I am hearing them say that their action are not something they are proud of, and would much prefer that the rest of the world didn't know how fucked up they treat their members.
This to me is ridiculous, childish, and disgraceful. Like ok we gots yo hundred dollars, hey we even picked up an extra $50-$100 from your dumb ass at the HOB!! so,now we can dick you around any way we like and if you tell anyone well cut you off.

Well, I'll tell ya. I posted everything to the letter, nothing has been taken out of context. What you have seen is exactly as it is.
I am not about to be intimidated into silence.
I have offered up nothing but the truth and requested feedback to gain a bit of prospective from y'all to make sure I was seeing this all clearly.
Again, although this time I could not help but preface this post...do y'all feel the NPGMC is just in revolking any communicative rights I may have had???

Legally, can this be done? You are a member of the club. As a member, do you have the right to communicate with them. They have your money. It would seem as if they are revoking a part of your membership. Hopefully, something like this is not in the fine print.

Imagine your credit card company telling you that you cannot call them anymore because you have been complaining about something.

I think they have done a good job at communicating with us (at least it's been improved since the beginning), but this is ridiculous.

It's one thing to shut you down about a refund or whatever the original problem was (I need to read your thread), but it's another to make a paying customer feel unwelcomed by banning them from communicating - after all, it's not like you can call them instead. Email is the only way to reach them, so this is pretty damn WHACK.

What theyre doing is ridiculous, the only real point of contact for NPGMC is email, and theyve told you not to email them again. So as a member how are you supposed to contact them? I would email them again and ask them. You havent broken any contractual obligations by sharing your emails in a public forum. I think its extremely unprofessional on there part to ask you to stop emailing. That is not the way to deal with paying members. I read your other thread and i think your concern was legitimate. The mind boggles

I have known a few others who had to pay as well & are biting the bullit.

You have to understand, the people who answer the email & the people that handle the booking of the clubs are different. Prince has like 14 people in his enterouge (it's late) when he tours & nto all of thme are on the same page. If 14 people that travel together are not on the same page, don;t expect the people that handle the emails to know what the heck to do.

I gave ya antoher lead. Take on the HOB & see what thy can do.

I am gonna stick my neck out for just one moment here and say that when I joined the NPGMC...what was included in the price was that I would enjoy the perks without making announcements about them to non-paying members...unless it was outside of the exclusive member area...so I don't announce what I see.

I think it is WRONG to post email in it's entirety regarding anything someone has sent to me (I would not be happy if mine were made public without consulting me first), UNLESS I got their permission first.

Prince's club is HIS club...we pay to be a part of it. He makes the rules, his employees follow them - it is not a purchase of an item...it is access inside - they made it pretty clear that there is a line, and if it is crossed they can and will enforce them.

But to Aannastesia...I am sorry this happened...I don't agree/disagree with you...I just wouldn't handle it in the way that you did. I hope it all works out in the end...

I don't think this is about wether or not Annastesia did anything that she could have done differently (I don't know), but that the NPGMC said that she should stop communicating with them. Like they couldn't have told her to stop it in another way.

NPGMC thought the e-mails were private & that trust was violated by printing those e-mails & using them as a basis to complain.
It may be your right to complain but its also their right to say enough already.

Without ever once being notified there was a problem with it.

This is just some pitiful loser fanatic complaining again. She is fat, too, so the self esteem problems are coming through which this useless rant. If she paid to get into the HOB aftershow in Hollywood and is a member, then her dumg ass got jacked. We all got in for free by showing out laminates from the concert. As far as I am concerned, I got 4 hours of music in 2 different performances for the $125 concert ticket.

As for the emails, I would think they don't what eclusive membership info going out to the general public. That is the onl y logical thing I can think of. This happened so much last year with the pre sale passwords that they had to stop sending then via emails. The way it is done noww is somewhat more secure because you have to be able to access the premium page AND prove you are a membership once you get to the show.

If you are so fragile that you are crushed because NPGMC or anyone else doesnt want their emails posted in other places, you have personal problems beyond the realm of a simple music fan club website...

Whether or not it was "right" for AA to post NPGMC emails is anybody's guess - everybody has their opinion.

What I think is WRONG is that they've asked her not to email them anymore. She has no other way to communicate with them - they're cutting her off & that's fucked up no matter how you look at it.

Couldn't they have said, "We will cease all communication with you on this or any other matter if you continue to post our responses in a public forum."

At least then, they've given her a warning & let her know they don't like it & she better stop if she wants her issues addressed. I think their "fuck off" response is HARSH, bottom line...

Damn!!! I wrote a long reply to this whole situation and previewed it and instead of fixing my misspellings on that page I hit the back arrow and lost everything After doing that two other times, you'd think I would have remembered But I'll add a little something about HOB anyway. I was sitting next to HOB owners upstairs...They were VIP and I was right next to them seperated by the velvet rope. They didn't know jack about Prince and really couldn't care less...They just seemed to be checking out the "product"...They were taking up great seats and that would have been appreciated alot more by people like us...and the girl with them, what an arrogant bi**h!!! My hand was over the rope and she yells "excuse me" and pushes it back to my side of the rope...Damn, I sure hope my belief in Karma comes true...
