But hey, if people were actually asking for them, it only makes sense to offer the earwraps again. I'm a capitalist... nothing wrong with making a few bucks.

i saw a guy on the bus a while back who was wearing an earwrap. i kept hoping more people would get on the bus.

seriously, i think prince can (just barely) pull off the earwrap. this is a man who has also been able to pull of bikini shorts and shiny hooded purple capes. i think anyone who wants to rock one of these puppies needs to ask the very important question: AM I PRINCE?

the answer could very well be a resounding "no".

That would be a good twist) These handcrafted sterling silver crescent moon earwraps come in 3 different styles (three too many), and will clearly never catch on, despite our endless attempts at trying and are available in right-ear or left-ear design. NPGMC Members get $10 off when u buy thru the Member's NPG Retail store and let's face it, only totally sad twats will think that that's a bargain.

We truly wish that we had some new music to promote, but until then we'll pretend that you all became Prince fans because of his fashion sense and not because of his music. It's a shame that Prince still thinks that the masses will follow his lead when it comes to clothes and accessories, but we're not allowed to say that and we have to enthusiastically promote shite like these earwraps in order to stay in his good books. We'd like to rename this website NPGAC (NPG Accessories Club) in order to be a more realistic representation of what the club's genuinely about. If Prince had built his career on tacky baby clothes, scrap-books, mid-life crisis driven jewellry and ancient recordings by associated artists that just didn't sell as well as expected, then we'd all be clamouring to get the goods in NPGMC retail. However, Prince built his career in music, but we're all supposed to forget this and buy expensive shite instead!

They were crap when we first saw him wearing them, and they're even less good now, nearly ten years on. We don't think we've ever seen anybody else wear these earwraps apart from Prince. And even then, it was only in one or two pics (possibly only one). However, despite this, in the future we look forward to promoting the new incredibly fonky beige trousers with elasticated waist that Prince will be peddling very soon from the NPGMC Stow.

i'm happy to see I'm not the only one with this reaction to the exciting email!

i think i'm gonna order the natural-look earwraps.
