SATISFIED?

Some of the recent posts have sparked a bit of curiousity as to whether the majority is truly satisfied with the NPGMC...

Have you had a bad experience with your membership perks?

Have you had silly banter with the NPGMC via email?

Do you feel screwed out of $100.00?

R U satisfied?

Do you feel your complaints have gone unanswered or that they were ignored?

Just give your thoughts...good or bad.

If possible please try to keep debate to a minumum, I'd like to get a fair sample of opinions...

Hey, the soundcheck alone was worth joining for me. Of course, I'm expecting my four albums this year. Knowing Prince and his sometimes twisted sense of humor, all 4 CDs will arrive on 12/31/02. lol

NO, I am not satisfied with the NPGMC. It's working for some people, but others are getting hosed.

If they can't get this club together where it serves its members equally, cancel it.

I'm just patiently waiting for some goodies and info and a DEAL to the Celebration.

Advice/suggestion: How about a little more specific in the title of the discussion. I'm not getting all up on you, just I think if you would make it "The NPGMusicClub: Satisfied Customer?" Would instantly make you aware of what the topic is. That's all.

I must say that I far preferred last years format for the club. It wasn't perfect but they did seem to work really hard to iron out the wrinkles. Then after the last couple of months when they seemed to be on the top of their game, bang, no more downloads.

Whenever I had any issues, I sent them mail. Every single time I got a reply and it was always a personal reply, answering the points raised. Overall I was very satisfied with their performance in that respect.

This year I am still waiting to see if I am satisfied. I guess when I have the 4 CD's under my belt I will be more than happy, even though it could work out extraordinarily bad value if he doesn't tour the UK. That was always gonna be the case though and I am not complaining. What I am really hoping is that they are really looking at the point about AT LEAST 4 CD's. I think myself and every member of the club would be delighted and amazed should we end up with 5+ discs this year. How about a special international only bonus CD if he doesn't tour outside the US?

Ok. Joining the NPGMC has so far lost me $100 and got me nada! However, I 'm sure they will deliver the CDs as promised, so I have no complaints there.

NPGMC have always replied to my messages, but a robot would have had more warmth. I guess they are acting on orders but as someone else previously noted, it is very clear that we are paying customers rather than members.

Anyway, that's all.

On The One.

In general, the club has been positive, but it's obvious that the lack of planning is causing problems for club members.

Who hasnt?

Do you feel screwed out of $100.00?

(((looks around))) I dont c any cd's here....

R U satisfied?

Read all of the above.

Do you feel your complaints have gone unanswered or that they were ignored?

No, because they always bitch back.

Just give your thoughts...good or bad.

Look, theyre probably getting just as many negative e mails as positive. That tells me a lot. And U no what? If this were another artist's club, they would be saying "How high?" if we said "Jump" Why? Because without the fans uy dont have shit.

Now tell me that aint true. Whatever happened 2 "The customers (especially if theyre by the hundreds) are always right"?

Obviously you have never worked at a job dealing directly with the public. The customer sucks. Can I get an "Amen" from my brothers and sisters in the retail/service industry?

Year 1 - satisfied except for obsessive yet sporadic censorship of the music files.

Year 2 - unimpressed with how they have chosen to proceed and haven't joined. At the moment all they are selling is promises.

Yeah, I feel I got kinda screwed on one thing. The concerts page will not display in my npgmc account for some reason. I emailed many days ago and never got a response. I needed to get it straight to order my concert tix (or at least I thought I did at the time). I put "Urgent" in the subject line, but nothing. I ended up buying a ticket to the Oakland show but I never made it to it. So, I've spent $225 for nothing so far.

As a broadband user, I enjoyed the downloads and it was something new every month. I miss that for sure. We do need to get a cd soon though, 'cuz this is some boooolshit!

Hey, anyone know if the ONA tour is over now, for the US? I need to catch it somewhere!

i worked in so many retail jobs as a teenager and even a few years into adult hood when i was still studying college classes...and i have to agree, most of the retail customers suck! they treat you like your a piece of sh*t behind the register.....rude, rude, rude...and i was always so cheerful and friendly to everyone...i never took any moods out on them....but they sure did on me...i have made a rule to never work retail ever again unless i'm starving to death or something and i have no choice....

peace & blessings, kim--

I joined the club late 2001 and I had a few problems with the club. I could not log on 2 the site until 2002. I paid my membership 3 months prior 2 that. But as far as the way I C the club now it's fine.

Got alot of free down loads, we are gettin 4 CDs this year, I got rite in2 the concert in Oakland with no problem even though I was really late. So I think the Bonus from bein N the club far exceeds 100 dollars. I mean prefered seating-Free CDs- Free down loads- Free after party/show this is pretty good 4 only 100 dollars. C mon really now >> try gettin all this from N sync or Spears...lol

I can see where people would be pissed. I'm glad I only bought the cheapest, easily canceled membership to see what I got before I joined.

I got screwed over with the Crystal Ball fiasco. Anybody else remember the description of the package vs. what was delivered? (A free standing sphere vs. the giant contact lens w/no booklet).
I still think it's cool that he's trying to develop a new slant on the Artist/Patron model.

Is this a trick question? You know that none of the CD have been mailed out, so nobody has any merchandise, Can't be satisfied with nothing, but I am confident that the 100 dollars will more than pay for themselves. No doubt in my mind, now wouldn't all you pretenders feel like a fool if the members get a video of the ona tour as well as the CD's.
Nobody knows what they will be and I am enjoying the anticipation.
How you gonna get my back when you fronting.
