Mark my word... the same people saying "where's my new album" are going to be the first ones to say "the new cd sucks... when is he going to release some GOOD music!" etc. etc.

I'm not in a rush here either because I'm still quite enjoying the Rainbow Children, which, after about 8 months now, I consider a masterpiece. Other Prince masterpieces include

To hell with those downloads! That shit took me all night to receive and half the morning to convert and burn to CD. Half a day spent chopping up an NPG audio show to get the few new songs on it. Believe me, at the end of the year, if I got screwed then I'm the first one off the bandwagon.

I'm in no rush 4 the 4 c.d.s I know they're done. We've heard Xenophobia over the PA at different shows...One Night Alone on cd is being done every night.0}+> greatest hits are already long done...I can't remember what the fourth one is said to be...What I'm thinking about is TRC has been completed for about a year now...I know he's got something newer in the can than the four albums he's mentioned on NPGMC...Maybe U all will get to hear some new funk at the celebration...U know he's got it...Aloha

I don't know how long the club has been going this year, but that could be an explanation.

I hope the rumor of an aftershow compilation is true. It's long overdue. In fact, the official triple live album from Prince has been overdue for 10 years now and would probably be his best chance of denting the charts, if that's what he wants.

People fail to realize that there is a large majority of people sitting back watching as this whole NPG thing unfolds, esp me, being from Canada...100.00us works out to 145.00cdn. I'm in no rush...
If this works, and lives up to promise, it could be a very efficient means of music exchange between artist, and music fan, credibility will increase popularity, it may set a precedent.
If it fails, I hope you enjoyed your soundchecks!!!
