NPG Albums I was thinking about buying Slaughterhouse and News and Chocolate Invasion from the NPGMC how are they?

They're all good, especially if you don't already have the songs from the NPGMC in 2001. Folks are quite divided over News. A lot love it and a lot think it's boring twaddle. I'm in the former camp. Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop.

If u dont have the songs-> do it.
NEWS is a must have. Whatever 'they' say. Play it 10 times and u won't leave it for a while. Art. I'm a Rainbow Children, Xpectation, News and Musicology lover and I'm startin'to be a 3121 lover.

News is the most focused of the bunch, although its kind of a pain to sit through such lengthy tracks.

I don't understand that mentality. What's the rush to get to the next track? If the track you're listening to is doing the job then why can't you just appreciate it? Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop.

Its a music appreciation cd...both the producing, arranging and the way those musicians play their pieces. You can hear that they're truely in an atmosphere one with the sound! im getting carried away!

Hi Frank!
That's it. You need to change the pace of your listening. Another example is that if I want to listen to a quick song then I won't put on the America 12", and if I do put it on, I'll drift into the repeditive beat and enjoy the trip. Often more is better. Don't waste your money on N.E.W.S.
(you can always hop aboard an elevator for an hour or so and hear the equivalent) If you really want to buy some 'jazz' from there, get Xenophobia. (Or better yet go find some Madhouse)

Maybe he doesn't like every single track on there. I think personally it's a rare Prince album lately that I don't end up skipping songs ... of course, the songs I skip often change with time, which is cool. But with NEWS, there are just too many slow....eh, I dunno. It's just not inspiring to me, anyway- or rather, not the bulk of it. Obviously there's still plenty of good on there in my eyes. Eric Leeds is my Cock Master, even if he did let those PP bastids misspell "saxaphone" on the pop-out book slash compass that came with the disc. No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.
