Clips onto DVD

I have just downloaded the Prince question of U clip from the club and was wondering if it is possible to burn it onto DVD?

Any assistance would be great

Thanks!

Yes, to my knowledge, you can put them on CD. I even asked at the Club,
and the Mods said yes. I don't know about DVD though.

you'll have to use the video equivalent of Audio Hijack if it exists.

Actually, I'm almost certain that you can just burn the Windows Media video files to CD....then certain DVD players will play it, just like some DVD players play MP3s....someone correct me if I'm wrong?

Oh, okay PBS...that's what I was thinking of, that you can burn it to a CD and listen to the audio that way. (I remember thinking that it's idiotic of the clb not to mention this to people, as they made such a big deal out of Question of U also being available as an audio download, and the Much More Music performances did NOT include an audio download....when it turns out there's no reason for one anyway).

Maybe you can't actually burn the video file?

There is no way to convert the file to make it DVD compliant, as the DRM does not allow it. So far I haven't heard of anyone being able to get round the DRM of the video files, so unfortunately you are stuck watching it on your pc.

Yeah, I don't think you can put the video onto a dvd or cd so that it will play independent of the license. You could probably rip the audio but that's about it, because of the protection.

Which is an absolute pain, because I would like to take the videos to show a friend on their computer, but I can't, the only way it would work is if they come to my house and watch it on my pc.

I would at least like to back up these files with a feeling that I could easily get them working again in the future if my pc got messed up.

Protection is a pain.

Its funny when I downloaded the clip from the club it automatically saved into my real player as a video flie.

Unless it can be copied from here I guess there is no other way?
