Latest News about European Tour - Candy Dulfer

Here it is guys, the first snippets, sort of, with regards to the Prince NPG European Tour...looks like we could be waiting for awhile as Candy needs a break and do her own thing...i don't personally think Prince and the band will work without our gal...readon...

Actually, it could coincide with the European leg of tour for Candy to take 5 while playing with the band...more news soon...

NEWS FROM CANDY DULFER
_____

Candy Dulfer and her band will be playing some exclusive club shows
across
Europe this Fall, the first opportunity this year for her many European
fans to
see her perform.

These club shows follow hot on the heels of
Candy's collaboration with musical legend Prince during the Musicology
Tour,
playing sell-out arenas across the USA. Despite these high profile
shows for
thousands of fans every night she also loves to perform in more
intimate
settings, so she will be playing with her own band across Europe this
November and December. Tourdates will be announced shortly, so keep
checking this website for updates!

Hmmm, well I'm sure he could find somebody to replace her, after all, he's had to replace Maceo a few times, and he'd probably get Rhonda to do Candy's vocal parts in a pinch.... But I do reckon he'll take a break after this tour and restart next year. I'm sure everyone involved is pretty exhausted and John never really got much time to reflect on things either.

Better to get a re-juvenated show next year than one where their energy is flagging.

Is Prince even going beyond the US?

Doesn't seem like it...unless I missed something.

Do I detect a certain whiff of cynicism coming from you, young man? Actually, I know what you mean. Prince is one part genius, two parts prat.
There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently

He went to Canada also smile. Anyway, was this really marketed as a "world tour" ? I thought the initial press release called it a coast to coast tour of the US.

Nah I think it was a WORLD tour (musicology that is) as he boasted they were going to tour the globe twice
