Chicago questions for Chicago people... OK y'all... ill be in Chi-town July 22-24 to scout apartments and jobs for my move. To my utter suprise and delight... TA-DA! Prince will be in town for the weekend, too. 
That being said... I need to know where he will be after the show, the most likely after-show gig locale, where the un-official party fan(m) gathering is, and as icing on the cake, where I can find some good leads on apartments and employment (I work for the entertainment biz). Help! Thank you! *********************************************************************************************

prince has been known to appear ath the metro from time to time. the after show is something that you have to find out about at the last minute. prince usually plays somewhere on the north side in the uptown area or wrigleyville. he needs to come out south and do something.  | |

he has played at excalibur before, has had an afterparty at the hard rock cafe (lame venue) and he has been to the park west (or lincoln park west - i always just call it park west) a couple times. cabaret metro twice (people just call it the metro). | |

maybe ill check out the metro after the show... thanks for the info! anything on an unofficial after party to meet up with other concert goers? *********************************************************************************************

I think he'll do an aftershow in Chicago when he returns in July or August as a way to "make it up" to his fan for cancelling his June shows.
Hope I'm right! And if he does an aftershow, I hope it'll be at the Metro. The Park West is cool too. Peace. | |
