It's not a tasteless thread. Grow up people.

It's a valid subject and away from the condolence threads (which would have been tasteless).

I would think Kirky may get a call.

Then PLEASE stop thinking.

Read the thread over again, I have. She shows no remorse, outright glee at the possibility of J's replacement with Sheila E, she then gives her mini review of the nights previous show, filled with "shout outs" to Chicago orgers and ends the thread wishfully daydreaming about how cool it would be to re-live her 1987 P experience all over again on the cureent tour! How cool is that! How do you think John would fill if he happened on this site a saw that we already picking out his replacement? no no no!

If anyone truly believes that I am feeling some outward "glee" about the possibility of John not being able to continue, you are wrong and completely misunderstood what I was trying to say.

I guess at the time of posting I was still on my "high" from Friday night, or perhaps I was trying to find something lighthearted to say at the time.

Of course I was also shocked and saddened by the death of John's daughter, but as mentoned earlier in the thread, many people react to shocking or tragic news in different ways.

Please do not try to over analyze the thread, or try to prove that I am some kind of heartless idiot. No one on this site I believe would feel that way.

Perhaps a lapse in judegement on my part, or simply a case of being misunderstood, or... a case of some people being overly sensitive.

Peace.

neutral for some humans ... it is far easier to point a finger outward then inward ...

those that may have seemed to "bash" the original post have done just as much "harm" with their negitivity then what harm may have been done via the original post ...

humans are humans ... imperfect yet beautiful

~ shrugs ~ but what do i know ...

Totally agree. Best ever drummer to play in Prince's band(s) in my opinion.
