How old was the little girl? Anyone know?

This is heartbreaking.

Oh my...what dreadful news. I have the entire NPG family in my prayers especially John Blackwell and his loved ones. This really has put me into mourn mentality, and it is such a tragedy.

My heart and my best goes out to Mr. Blackwell and his family-please give them the strength to get through this sad sad time.

Anybody know of any way to get messages to the Blackwell family to let them know they're on our minds? Maybe a card we can all e-sign and send to them? Just a thought.

My step-sister lost her 2 year old in a drowning a couple of years ago. I was at a loss for words of comfort then, just as I am now.

I guess the only words I can offer are this: Though her life was short, it was beautiful. This precious child will never have known pain - only comfort. She will never know fear - only security. She will never know sadness - only joy. She will never know hatred. Only Love.

God bless the Blackwell family. And John, your angel will always be with you.

John seems like such a sweetheart and is always so nice to fans. My heart goes out to the family. May god bless you all and guide you through this horrible time.

My girlfirend just lost her GodDaughter in a multi-car collision here in Detroit. 6 people died, 1 survived. The little girl was only 6 years old, my family is devastated. We've been losing them lately, I don't know what to think or do. I don't know how I'd survive if I lost my son

My heart is breaking for the Blackwells, the loss of a child is devestating and words of condolence are honestly just words, I loss my precious Godson 1yr ago and it is as fresh as the day it happened. I want to send my thoughts and prayers to John and his wife for the precious Jia, know that she is in God's loving arms and that she will always be with her Mommy and Daddy, as her beautiful star shines so brightly upon you.

This is SO sad. John is the most talented drummer alive. I don't know the right thing to say. I just know he and his family must be going through the worst hell of their lives. Just when he was having the time of his life on tour. Why must the bad always accompany the good?
