The people with the bands were all told to wait after the show..... So I am pretty sure it had something to do with AFTER wards! Alot of people were drinking WAY too much and being rude and trying to get up in to our seating area.. the Security was ok... but as the night when on people got more and more drunk and ruder..... What a waste..... Can't people have fun with out being wasted????? Grow up.

In St. Paul I was given a wristband when I was in the front and it had nothing to do with anything going on after the show, not to say that that is the case in Milwaukee. To address your point of drinking, it's Wisconsin. There's not a whole lot else going on there. And Summerfest is always a drunken good time. Does any Orgers know what these were for?? See ya in Chicago..... Yes, he does this at EVERY show and for good reason. If you have front row tickets, he makes sure that the only people that are in the coveted Front row are the ones that has tickets there. If they see you in the front row and you don't have a wristband, or ticket stub that confirms your front row spot, they will shot you. Naw, it's just to make sure the people belong there. The show I was at, I was in the third row and a woman who had moved up to the front was checked by that guy and asked her to go back to her assigned seat. Life my azz muthafucka, dis is a bitness!!

I was in the front row in St Paul and didnt get a wristband. At that show the ones with wristbands were the ones who went onstage.

I'm really not sure about this... cause when we were in Milwaukee they kept that front row there after people left.. and no one near me (I was in the 2nd row) got up on stage to dance????? So I still don't have any real clue what those were for

You are all wrong. The wrist bands are given to the front row ticket holders because out of this group, a smaller group is selected to go on stage and dance during the show. It has nothing to do with aftershows or parties, etc.

Sorry that is NOT right..... We were sitting in the 2nd row in Milwaukee NONE of the people given wrist bands went on stage!!!!! NONE OF THEM!! And the guy from Princes Staff that was passing them out told the girl in front of us that the reason they were getting wrist bands was cause they would be doing something AFTER the show..... After everyone started leaving.... THIS ROW STAYED! So maybe at YOUR show that is what it meant.... but not at THIS show. PLUS..... I watched on stage... NO ONE that I could see had wrist bands on? Such a mystery?????

They are just for the people in the front row. It has nothing to do with after the show or even the people that are let on stage....it is to determine whether or not the correct people are in the front when everyone is standing up and so that security can determine it without having to look at their tickets all night. Been to four shows and a member of the club...trust me. [This message was edited Mon Jun 28 3:26:04 2004 by cgirl27]

I got a wrist band at the detroit concert when I was in the front row. It was for added security. That way Princes staff would know who belonged in the the front row. As for going on stage, it didnt matter where you were sitting, just that you were female and not wearing jeans or shorts. free yo mind!

i saw folx with them on at the ATL concert a few months ago, but not every person in the front row had them. And I didn't see any wristbands on the folx who got to get up on stage... "Pedro offers you his protection."
