Hope he takes a few days off to rest v. cords. I would rather see him perform his best rather than hear him struggling to sing.

 Bummer! I know of several orgers who had tix for the Chicago shows. They must be awfully disappointed, but I agree with those who say that Prince should take all the time he needs to rest and get better. Picturing Prince sitting in a chair with his feet on an ottoman, sipping tea.RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you. | |

----- Official Press Release: PRINCE CHICAGO SHOWS TO BE RESCHEDULED Due to a death in the family of NPG drummer John Blackwell , the PRINCE shows scheduled for this week in Chicago have been rescheduled. The show scheduled for June 28 will now play on July 22. The June 29 show will play on July 23 and the June 30 show will play on July 24. The PRINCE show that was scheduled for June 26 will play on August 3rd, as previously announced. Tickets for this weeks PRINCE shows will be honored on their rescheduled dates in July. Those who are unable to attend rescheduled dates will have refunds issued at the point of purchase. Our deepest sympathies go out to John and his family. | |

So it wasn't just Prince's sore throat that caused the cancellations of the Chicago shows, it was also a death in John's family. My thoughts go out to John and his family.  RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you. | |
