I do not have TIX for Detroit but am in the area. Can I go to the soundcheck? I am a member and would love to take my Pops. I can bring a non-member guest, right? Please to reply quickly....it's today...lol. Everyone have a funky good time! Peace. (and for those wondering... I'll be going in NYC.)

My guess is that you DO need a ticket to get into the soundcheck.

When I went in Oakland, we couldn't get in without our ticket to the show since they let us stay in the building thereafter...

When you bought your ticket was the sound check explained? Or do you just show up and say your a member with your ticket?

In Columbus each NPGMC member had to show ID at the door. They checked your name off of a member list and then you got a laminate, which gets you and one guest into sound check. Before we could go inside soundcheck, they made sure we each had ticket, but we didn't have to give it to anyone at that point. After the soundcheck they ushered us out a side door and we had to get in line with the rest of the people waiting for the concert. That's when they actually took our ticket.

I agree I think you should go even without a ticket and try to get to the soundcheck - they are very cool about it and for me it was one of the highlights of the whole night.
