Yesterday, I heard a R&B DJ here in NC give away tickets for DC show on 8/14/04, and tickets to the aftershow or afterparty- at the Green Club or something like that. Any info - out there...

I live in DC. I've never heard of the Green Club. But who knows!

It is a national radio promotion. You are entered for a grand prize drawing which this week is a trip to DC to see Prince and VIP passes to Dream Nightclub.

Green does sound a little like Dream, doesnt it.

It's a pretty new club, just opened a couple years ago....kind of controversial, too...there's been a couple shootings there...and it's in a residential neighborhood in northeast DC, so the club faced detractors from the start. I figured this is where Prince would go after the House of Secrets shut down. Secrets is where Prince went when he visited DC for many years.

OOh.... I found the website on my own, club looks beautiful, especially when compared to some of the spots selected for afterparty on the tour so far. I lived in DC for 3 years 1987- 1990 so dont remember where this area is... Have you been to this club, Square Peg?

Is the aftershow going to be the night of the 8/14/04 show ? I'm thinking about going to this show but I want to attend the show that will have an aftershow afterwards. If anyone know please let me know. Thanks!
